McFadden finished the 2010 season as one of the 5 most-productive NFL running backs despite playing in only 13 games. He had career highs in rushing (1,157 yards), receiving (506 yards), TDs (10 total -- 7 rushing, 3 receiving), and total yards from scrimmage (1,663 total yards). He had 6 games with at least 100 yards rushing, and a total of 9 games with at least 89 yards rushing. His rushing yards per game (89.0), total scrimmage yards (1,663) and yards per carry (5.2) were all ranked in the top 5 among NFL running backs.

Latavious Murray had 82 carries last year. 68 of them came in the final 4 games of the season when he was the primary ball carrier and he averaged 3.8 ypc.

The only reason his ypc for the season is so high is because he had 2 games where he had 8 carries for 155.

Latavious is going to be good dmac sucks go look at his career stats yourself...

Murray had 5.2 ypc last year compared to 3.4 for DMC, yes its clearly the raiders oline. I wouldn't be surprised if he was cut before the season started.

Murray averaged 4.7 ypc.

McFadden has been cursed by injuries, but mostly cursed by a horrid Oakland Raider offense...OL, QB's, TE's, WR... from meh to pathetic.

I think he'll do fine in the Cowboy offense.

May even surprise a few naysayers.

He does run from contact which is a plus, I am sure its out of sheer survival but at least he does not seek out defensive players to hit.

He's also a home-run hitter., which Murray wasn't. The guy flies down the field and runs uphill.

That might as well be his career in a paragraph. That is literally the other time he has been playing at a high level. The rest of the time he was ineffective or injured.

Get him motivated and you have a quality player as your backup.
