So....did this series get canceled and I missed it? Anyone else out there was watching this?

Maybe it's about to be back, I don't know.

It has been an "okay" series for me so far. Not great, but it didn't suck either I did not think.

Guess we'll see.

I watched it for a while, but it got too repetitive for me.

I think I watched 2 seasons worth.

I think I lost interest when the guys older son got 'possessed' by an alien bug and he started acting weird.

Then another group of aliens landed that were supposed to help out.

Haven't watched much since then. Been meaning to finish it out.

It always starts in June. This year will be the final season.

I liked it a lot early. Had some Spielberg touches and for reasons I've never been able to explain...I like Noah Wyle a lot.

Then they introduced a golden child demigod and removed all the dramatic stakes. Pretty much the number 1 mistake for a sci-fi or fantasy show. The show nosedived for me after that.

It was alright the first couple seasons but really just seemed to deteriorate.

They jumped the shark with the alien-human hybrid baby- grow her up to an omnipotent teenager. Just like the original V and the 4400. Writing started out decent and now the writing/storylines suck.

never seems to fail with Sci Fi series; network suits or idiot producers want big splashes and think that is the way to keep an audience. Always too stupid to realize that on a whole sci fi fans are a LOT more demanding then the herd that the network suits are used to.
There is a reason Star Trek was the most succesful tv series- it did not USE that kind of plot device.

If you've been wasting time watching this show you deserve to be in limbo
