Dallas still needs starters

With the Hardy signing sinking in there is still a lot of work to be done by Jones. I still see 4 starting positions open: rb,cb,dt and mlb.

The draft: at 27 I am looking for starter at CB or DT or Gurley if he falls. A Marcus Peters selection looks awful good with our new thug defense. Follow that up with RB selection in 2nd round.

Resign McClain. Let's make it another 1 year deal.

Rolando is not going to sign another 1 year deal.

Scandrick and Carr are starting CB and I think we have a starting NB somewhere on the team. The other 3 positions I agree with you on.

DT: Sign Mosley draft Bennett in the 2nd let them battle it out for first string
RB: Gurley or Gordon, 1 will fall, if not trade back and get Coleman (he won't last until 59)
NB: Look at middle round guys and on this team. I personally like Kevin White out of TCU (who actually owned the more popular Kevin White)
MLB: Just get McClain.

Thug defense!!!! I love it

But what thugs do we have other than hardy?

Scandrick's pretty rough around the edges. But really it would be mainly Hardy and Ro manning the "Thugishness" of the team.
Which actually would be enough.

Edit: DLaw, I bet could get raw on some opposing Linemen, RB's and QB's once he's fully up to speed too. I could see that.

Yeah scandick for sure...

I don't know enough about dlaw to say

JJ probably has some gangsta in him

He's on his third team, as retired twice, and is on the third step of the league's substance abuse program. Any deal he gets is strictly show-me. It may be for more than a year in principle, but it'll be structured like a year-to-year offer with relatively high salary and relatively no obligation by the club to the player.

Yeah- I'm not sure on DLaw, but I get that vibe every time I see him. There's violence in his eyes.
Like when you'd see Mike Singletary's eyes. Not comparing career or talent, mind you- just the eyes.

We still need a free safety

You don't have to tell me. Fisher indicated $ was the holdup for signing McClain. I think he'll go to any team willing to a chance and pay him.

CB: I think Carr's status here is fluid. From what we think we know, the team wanted him to take a pay cut and he apparently called their bluff. Claiborne could be on the move too, with the rumored trade talk. We have Orlando Scandrick and unknowns. 1st round pick on a CB is a very real possibility.

DT(1-TECH): We could use an upgrade but I could see the team being content with Terrell McClain and Josh Brent here.

RB: Pardon my optimism, but I still think Adrian Peterson is very much in play here. If not, there is solid RB depth in this draft. We could come away with a very good player in the first three rounds.

LB: Rolando McClain solves a lot of problems here. Love his attitude and ability. Him and Hardy together brings a real edge to the defense. The ideas of Sean Lee having to play MIKE again or a very slow Jasper Brinkley playing major downs scare me. Shaq Thompson is a unique playmaker who could be available around pick 27. I also like Paul Dawson in the 2nd. We have depth here, we need a difference maker.

S: We need a true Free Safety, especially with our scheme. Church and Wilcox are better coming forward. Church terrifies me in deep coverage.
