I never understood why so many liked the show. I like car stuff so I gave it a try... Could just not into it.

Weird thing is that many people who don't care about cars at all would watch it, making it the most popular show on TV.

I am not into cars, but the original version, was hilarious!

I hear ya. My wife used to love that show. She talked about how funny those guys were. I thought the humor was lame. I could barely watch those limey's for 5 minutes.

They made their money. Later losers!
 
awesome show, funny, get to see every bad *** car there is. Hope it's not over, hate to watch The View with you guys.
 
I really like watching it for the cars but it'll be weird with a new cast.
 
Call me 'Merican, but I never got into the British version either. I enjoyed Jeremy's test drives/reviews but those seemed so few and far between.

It's not really a car show, it's an entertainment show that happens to be about cars. Kind of like Fast n' Loud.

Looks like they are for sure getting rid of Jeremy and the others are going to have their contracts expire. If they bring it back it won't have the same hosts. At least it wouldn't be as bad as American Top Gear which IMO was not even watchable.

i've gone through all the recent events and honestly couldn't tell if real, or a stunt. they do so many stunts anymore that this just seemed like an offshoot.

this season has been watching paint dry boring. the laughs i could muster were because of this trio, not in spite of them. i admire the 3 saying they won't be back w/o jeremy. quite honestly, jeremy makes the show what it is. but the way the 3 play off each other, golden.

i never bought into the "how dare you say that on the air" crap cause that only means their editing team sucks. like calling an asian 'slope' in one show. he got in trouble AFTER the show for saying it. great. but then how come your filming and editing crew (big as it is) missed it? pre- and final editing, missed it?

in any event, if they go back to just being another car show, i've got far too many of those already to watch and will simply move onto something else.

the american version is a hugely watered down PC version of the UK one. i can't get more than 15 seconds into it before the bearded loser makes me run away in search of some form of masculinity.

if i really took the time to know on a personal level every actor, commedian, or whatever i cared for, i'd likely find something in them all i don't like. i'm not asking clarkson to donate to my church (don't have one anyway) and i'm not asking him to represent me at a PTA conference (don't do those either anyway) so who he is beyond what makes me laugh, i really don't care. if he were a proven mass murderer or something i'd likely say "wow, what a waste, but damn that guy was funny".

so whatever else he may very well be, the only part of him i really care about is he's funny.

I honestly wasn't sure whether you were being facetious or brutally honest. He had wit about him. No doubt. His choice in humor and how it translates to others does not affect me in any way. We've all said things that we wish we could take back a time or two.

He's definitely made a name for himself.
 
I have discussed this a tad with Ice on Facebook...

If they get rid of the guys and do not try to go on with different people...Probably would be a flop with other people.

I would like to see BBC reboot the old Junkyard Wars show. I am not sure if they are the ones who did it originally but I would like to seem them bring that back. Loved the english version of the show, the american version was ok but english one was better.
