If anyone is still curious about what needs to be improved upon, just watch this game again to serve as a relative microcosm of opportunities.

As good as 12-4 was, this was a living testament to the issues that we had and continued to have for much of the season.

This was the one game Garrett/Linehan disrespected the opponent and failed to impose the will of our running game on the opponent.

Our lack of a pass rush against a very mediocre to poor QB was disgustingly evident.

If I am the decision makers in Dallas, I watch this game and use it as an example of things that need to be addressed because nothing has changed.

yup,,, and you bet your arse that opposing teams in the division will be devoting time and resources to stop that run this year. The offense can't protect the defense every game.

Let them try and stop the run...that means that the passing game will kick in. And, I really doubt that the offense will need to help the defense this coming year! It might be the other way around with a new looking defense that gets the ball back for the offense.

It also points out we need the run game to be at least as good as it was last year to be able to compete.

I wonder how on earth a bad Commanders secondary contained our vaunted passing game in this game then.

That's because, like you stated, the Cowboys gave up on the run. It was one of them "stupid" game plans that the Cowboys came up with. If they would have just let Murray do his thing, this game could have been won.

As bad as this game was, if Murray doesn't fumble and/or someone says no to Romo, its probably a win.

That game decided home field advantage throughout the playoffs. We win, we stay at he until the Super Bowl. /slipped milk

You really should reconsider. Seeing them cut to countless shots of McCoy's stupid parents watching their mediocre son play the game of his life is so pleasant.

That whole game pissed me off so bad. By the end I had pure hate for his parents, lol.

No kidding. I was enraged the first time. Now watching it again and listening to Tirico falling all over himself about him, well, let's just say it made my blood pressure rise.

The Cowboys as an organization should have been humiliated by that game then and use it as a learning tool now.

Yes, because for some reason, for an entire 18 games, no team tried to stop us from running last season. Let's hope they all let us try and sneak by again this year.

The sky is falling, the sky is falling, we run the ball and I think they've figured us out.

I think the final game, including the on-sides kick was a little payback.

I'd say when Greg Hardy's on the field, something has changed. You don't add an elite pass rusher to a team relying on Jeremy Mincey and a wet behind the ears rookie and remain status quo.

They cant just do that so easily... Romo2Dez46 is becoming a lethal combination
