I doubt any of these rookie RBs are gonna light it up next season. The transition into the NFL is a gradual one.

Not for running backs. They shine immediately, or never.

He'll just refuse to sign and re-enter the draft next year. If he's not drafted, he can't do that.

Really sucks for him. Not only did he lose someone he cared about, but the event ruined one of the biggest days of his life. Makes sense from his perspective though. Thanks.

Actually the transition to the NFL is the easiest of all positions for RBs................very little learning curve, that is why so many rookie RBs come in and produce right away.

True. I was thinking more along the lines as them not starting their rooking season. But you're right. It could very well turn out that way.

As it stands now, McFadden would be your starter. With some Ryan williams mixed in. Randle might be the one on the outs. Can't keep 4 backs especially when they will likely keep a FB.

Yeah, by "the rest" I was referring to the rest of Williams game....blitz pickup, durability, ball security, etc.
I like his pure running skills though.
