"Mount Rushmore" is brilliant. That name needs to stick.

It came to me last night when thinking about this line. To me, a large reason why they don't need Adrian Peterson. These guys will be creasing guys all day long. The running game will be productive. I would like a better back, but not at that price tag.

Love the sig and the OL nick, but don't think Collins is going to beat out Free at RT. If anything, he is more comfortable on the left side and on the inside so more than likely it will be Leary he goes head to head with.

I can see it going either way. I would love to see a line where the oldest player is 25 years old.

It's a long way from Phil Costa, Nate Livings and Mackenzy Bernadeau, huh?

Free may not make it through camp with those feet. If he does, how is his agility going to be?

Collins will see time at LG and RT during camp and pre-season games and will win one of those spots IMO.

Gotta post it.........Here we go!!!

Darren McFadden - RB - Cowboys
In a radio interview, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones didn't rule out the possibility of trading Dallas' 2016 first-round pick for a running back.

Dallas' current backfield is comprised of scrap-heap runners and Joseph Randle, who was effective in a lightly used change-up-back role last season but doesn't project as a volume runner. The Cowboys believe they essentially got three first-round picks this year in Byron Jones, Randy Gregory, and La'El Collins, and may be willing to part with their 2016 round-one selection. "I'd be reluctant to," Jones first conceded. "But certainly if the right situation came along that could improve us now, with where we are with (Tony) Romo, his career and where we are with what we've put together, it's a good time to go for it."

I don't think he ever specified "running back", so that first line is kinda misleading.

Yeah, he is looking to trade for a punter.....come on man

How do you know he didn't mean someone like Fletcher Cox?

He said he'd consider trading a 1st for the right "player." Not "running back", like the article completely insinuates he said.

That's all.

Agreed. They never talked about the RB position in particular. Jerry's comments were more his general philosophy regarding next years pick.

Although I agree with Jerry about possibly going for AP, I would not be showing my hand and saying what I am willing to part with. Don't think we need to give a 1st round pick to the vikings. Wait a bit, and at best a 2nd could bring him in with a player to be determined.

Either way, there is still unfinished business at RB, I am sure.

Oh, I don't know... it kinda read like Jerry was letting Rick Speilman of Minnesota know that if they want a first round pick for their disgruntled
All World RB, he'd be willing to give him one....... if he specifies "RB" everyone is gonna run wild with the rumors of AD... this way is slightly
more covert....just slightly...:)

if you think the vikings are giving away AP for a single first or second round pick, you're delusional....Jerry is just speaking in empty generalities....He also stated numerous times before and after the draft he's also happy with what Dallas has at running back

AD is an all-time talent, and as much as I want him in his rightful place as a Cowboy, it would be incredibly dumb to trade our 1st Round pick for a 30 year-old RB, and would go against Jerry and Stephen's great offseason track record the past 3 years.
