NASCAR’s most popular driver is getting married.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. proposed to girlfriend Amy Reimann while on the couple was vacationing Wednesday in Germany.

Earnhardt popped the question in a Lutheran church that he tweeted his family had attended seven generations and 300 years ago. Reimann shared the engagement via a Twitter post featuring a picture of them inside the church.

"I'm completely overwhelmed with love & joy," Reimann tweeted. "Happiest girl in the world! I love you so much @DaleJr."

While I'm not a big Jr. fan (I still can't get over the fact he roots for the Commanders) we haven't had a new NASCAR thread in a while. So I'll throw this out there in case anyone is interested in the driver of the #88 car.

That Skins fan thing always bothered me too. A huge fan of his dad even naming my dog Earnhardt - a killer 7 lb black & tan MinPin

On a side note, and not sure if it's true, heard that Amy was working as Dale Jr's interior decorator when they met. Amy was married at the time and Dale and her hooked up. Without knowing the details, that still ain't cool.
