I don't think he is untalented, but he was definitely the worst DL that had a prayer of making the roster. Can't imagine he makes to the PS, but I hope he does.

He's got enough talent to play in the League. Him being released is a testament to the job the front office (read Will McClay, Stephen Jones, Scouts and Garrett) is doing acquiring talent.

Both.... But probably Obada. Ben might be playing for someone else this year.

Hard to let Gardner slip but the competition on that DL is fierce and he has the lowest ceiling though his play has been well documented as NFL worthy.

I think we are as deep along the d-line as we've been in years, Rap0ports depth statement shows he doesn't know that much. The reason a decent young player like Gardner is cut is because we've got sold depth.

Cowboys waived RB Ben Malena.

A second-year undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M, Malena had a nice preseason, but couldn't crack the Cowboys' sorry running back corps. It's a sign he doesn't have much of an NFL future, though perhaps he'll land on the practice squad.
