Maybe but he was highly regarded before this past season and he is seen as more of a power back compared to what we have now.

Never know what a new situation will do for these guys, his pass blocking improved enough that the Broncos trusted him to be their starter and protect their aging QB last season until he got injured.

Nice, I think this kid is going to be special. The Broncos O-Line didn't create any room, he was constantly hit in the backfield.

For his preseason Ball had 68 yards on his 32 carries -- a 2.1 yards per carry average -- and now must wait and see if that "big picture" will include him when the Broncos trim the roster to 53 players.

That's a fair amount of carries to have that dismal rushing avg.

I don't think he's supposed to replace Randle or McFadden, for that matter.

well this guy is young. Don't think he will come in to supplant Randle or even Dmac, but for next to nothing, why not? young, had high hopes coming out of college, had a few good years with a good RB team in Denver, and already as good as i not better than Dunbar. Who knows, maybe he can be somebody behind this line.
