I've noticed a lot of the kids especially the hoops guys are bringing this look back. It seemed like every kid on Duke and in the draft had the Odell. Better than the long dreads if you ask me. I don't know how guys play sports with all that hair.

its not so much about playing with a lot of hair as so much it is living without a lot of hair.

I live without much hair everyday. Stupid genetics.

haha. understood.

but if you had a lot of hair and then all of a sudden cut it off. its a huge difference. you don't just cutt of all your hair. it takes a serious philosophical study period. likewise you don't just fast to fast. you have to prepare for it.

About a year ago my hair was about chin length. Is chin length a thing? Anyway i cut it back to "employable" length before interviewing for my current position. It made me sad.

the fade with a mini frohawk, and ends of hair dyed caramel-blonde

or

chocolate dipped peanut coated ice cream cone look

works for me.

I have a habit of growing my hair really long then basically shaving it all off just for the shock value.
And then I donate it...

Right now my hair is 3-4 inches past my shoulders. I'm glad I don't work for corporate America...

I can't honestly explain it. I can't say it gives me an adrenaline rush... Just something I like to do and have done for years.
My wife donated her hair for the first time a couple of months ago. She's already excited to do it again.

We were laughing the other night talking about running into someone wearing our hair and recognizing it.
"I'd know that hair anywhere!!!"

No people dont recognize you when you make a huge change like that.

That may be the shock value I'm talking about.
My in-laws love my long hair. My mother-in law literally dropped her dish last year when I randomly walked in with a buzz.

I'm glad I'll be at the Giants game so I don't have to see that catch a million times and hear the slobbering.

Ugh I cringe at the thought.

You know, I rarely watch the major broadcasts' pregame shows, etc, but because we're prime time on Sunday and it's week 1, I'll probably put it on just because. And I wonder, how many times will they mention/show the Odell vs Carr catch, and how many times will they mention/address the fact that we've completely owned them recently, winning the last 4 consecutive contests, and a pinky away from 6 consecutive. I think we all know which will get more air time.
