Last time Pryor was cut by the Bengals (6/22) was as a QB and the Browns, Cowboys and Pats claimed him. Wonder if he will get claimed again?

I didn't know we put in a claim for Pryor before. That's interesting..

I would assume kr/pr?

I thought he was ok in Oakland as a qb until he got a concussion in a game. I remember I was actually a little nervous playing against him on Thanksgiving but they ended up starting the qb from penn st instead.

Cleveland cut Pryor and picked up Turbin off of waivers.
Good moves.

I had no idea about this, but you have got to hand it to McClay. He might be the best pro personnel guy in the business these days!

Something odd about the Turbin story.

They said he was cut last week, then said he was retained on IR. The waiver period is 24 hours.

Yeah, I thought someone would claim him. Kind of weird that it just now gets announced.

I initially thought the same thing, but shrugged my shoulders and figured: I must have not been paying enough attention.
Now I do recall reading/hearing multiple reports to contraries about Mr Turbin, but the point is now moot, eh?

He's a Brown now, where he will rot, poor guy and I still like the Michael pickup, from where I sit, high up on the mountain peaks.

Your in the cloud !!!

Yeah, but I think the OP is saying that since we put a claim for him back then, we might put one in again now that he's been cut.

They had what , 90 rosters spots in June? I doubt they put in a claim now.

Very different doing an off-season claim vs one when you've got you 53 set

Pretty sure he was waived/injured. Then he cleared waivers and went back to SEA. Then they reached an injury settlement(4-6 weeks) and he became a FA.

They said Robert Turbin was "claimed" that is a term used for claiming a player on waivers. If he was a free agent they would have said signed.

The Prior reclamation continues, WR or TE?

I wonder if when we put the claim in it was for QB or WR, can he be put on PS? When the Bengals released him he contacted teams about changing to Receiver.
