More important to get guys in the right place than to get it snapped before. Romo knew exactly what NY defense was doing, he was calling out the blitz pickups perfectly and if that means in the end that the ball is snapped at 1 sec who cares.

I was glad Collinsworth was pointing out how Romo was able to figure out the Giants schemes through out the game and set the appropriate pickups and rout adjustments

Every coach and QB has their own style and what they are comfortable with. Obviously Garrett accepts this is what Romo does and is willing to live with a few delay of game penalties over the course of a season.

Well, you need a smart center and a smart quarterback, and every play you have come within a hair of getting a delay-of-game penalty. Clearly not for everybody.

Because not every coach gives the qb the freedom to audible or change protection.

IMO, sometimes other QBs do that stuff early in the play clock so the defense can audible out of something that may actually work against their formation or play. Romo wants to see and go after the original defensive call without them having enough time to communicate the changes and/or audible.

I'd love to see us goto a no huddle mid stream.
