Cowboys Set To Work Out Four Veteran QBs - J.Johnson, M Flynn, C.Ponder and McLeod Bethel-Thompson

Who is Josh Johnson and how did he become a "veteran" without me hearing of him ever before? Is he sure its not Brad Johnson?

Josh Johnson has been around for awhile. He was a backup in San Fran the last I heard.

Matt Flynn is the obvious choice. He is the best available and better than Weeden.

I like our chances with Weeden as much as with any other potential backup out there. Yes, he had a horrible game against the Cardinals. But its a year later and now he has a chance against a defense that is league average.

Lets see how he does against Atlanta before throwing him under the bus.

I understand the Weeden-hate... I do, really... but I keep seeing that TD pass last year against the Commanders and the strike he threw yesterday...
over and over in my head.... I just hope he's learned a lot since last year's Cardinals game.

I did love that fact that he didn't even warm up before replacing Romo... sat on the bench as a cool as a cucumber..
Then went 7-7 with a TD.

I think Weeden is all about confidence. Put him in a situation to succeed, get some positive momentum going and he may do ok.

Don't want Brad Johnson to be here leaking out locker room conversations.
