Cut Devin Street

And to think we traded up for this turd.....Yup... Our front office has turned it around. (Sarcasm)

Should have drafted LBer Telvin Smith...........

I say start playing anyone you think you want to see. Why keep Street if he wont make an impact next year. I would also say, after we pick from the draft, to many people are falling in love with players in videos from a completely different game. Dont do that.

I thought Street was going to be unleashed. Now folks want to cut bait. Whatever.

He is just not getting it done. Some players are bad practice players, but in games they are ready to play. Devin Street is good practice player, but it don't translate to game. He miss too many balls. I know there aren't many opportunities, but when you get that opportunity you have to capitalizes on it.

It's time to see what the Downfield Menace Vince Mayle can do. 6'2" 224 lbs. He can't be worst then Devin Street.

it's time to for a change. The DEFENSE will carry this team with Sean Lee, Greg Hardy and Rolando McClain leading the way. We can be that Baltimore Raven team with Trent Dilfer at QB that won the Super Bowl.. The Raven defense carried that team and the offensive just played power running football.

What was his target/catch stat line for the Pats game? I think it was 1 of 2.

What would cutting him accomplish? He knows the system and bring someone else in at this time would set you even further behind. Cutting him would be an emotional decision.

the IGS would feel better.

for 18 minutes.

Seems we have one of these threads after every game.

I'll miss that next Monday. Actually, no I won't.

If it comes down to those 2 cut Street!!!!!!!

I'm not going to sit here and defend Street, but there is a good chance we get Butler and Bryant back after the bye. So, Street won't be heavily featured anymore.

Now Lucky Whitehead, that's a different story. He's not ready for the NFL.

I'm dumping both of 'em for two guys who can actually play.

It's bad enough trying to make due without one of the league's top 5 receivers, but trying to do it with guys who can't play only makes it harder.

The frustrating part of this is that there are WRs on the street and on practice squads around the league that are better than Street and Whitehead.

Two weeks to get someone else ready to go.

Maybe someone who can play?

Cut him to get a better player on the team. It is that simple.

Street hasn't shown anything in the last 2 years to stand out.

We need a WR that can get separation and behind defenses.

You see players come in off the street and perform and this guy has been here for two years and hasn't shown anything at all.

Can't consistently catch the ball. That's why the Patriots are so good (that and their pick plays). They keep around players who consistently do their job.

Players like Williams and Street consistently don't do their job, and Williams occasionally will make a big play or two.

Even the man himself Jason Witten is good for a few bone headed mistakes every game. Great tight end, but the amount of mistakes this guy has made over the years that he gets a complete pass for.... is beyond me.

You see people come off the street and play great for a number of teams. We seem to struggle to plug in guys who have been here for years. I think it's our system that asks these guys to do too much to get open.
