He is just not getting it done. Some players are bad practice players, but in games they are ready to play. Devin Street is good practice player, but it don't translate to game. He miss too many balls. I know there aren't many opportunities, but when you get that opportunity you have to capitalizes on it.

It's time to see what the Downfield Menace Vince Mayle can do. 6'2" 224 lbs. He can't be worst then Devin Street.

it's time to for a change. The DEFENSE will carry this team with Sean Lee, Greg Hardy and Rolando McClain leading the way. We can be that Baltimore Raven team with Trent Dilfer at QB that won the Super Bowl.. The Raven defense carried that team and the offensive just played power running football.

I saw his picture on the side of a milk carton...it said missing on the field since Game 1

He has been missing more than that. He has pretty much been the uncontested fourth WR on this team for a while and has not produced very much. But hey, Dooley said he was great, so he is on scholarship.

I hope that Butler gets back on the field and makes even wondering what he is doing irrelevant.

Same goes for Hanna over Escobar.

I would not cut Devin Street. He is a nursing a bad ankle right now and that might be affecting his overall game. I would however make him inactive until he is healed up, I might even consider putting him on IR. I would give his touches to Butler and give the remaining looks to Whitehead and Mayle.

Sturm's Decoding Linehan: Why are Cowboys coaching games like they are the favorite?

1st Drive from Sunday, the Cowboys try this rollout to Weeden where Devin Street is up at the 40. The throw was out of bounds and I have heard colleagues state that Street "can't get open". Unfortunately, these pictures do not agree:

Let's also check the end zone camera to see if Weeden's view disagrees. This is what we call "NFL Open". You simply must be able to make this throw.

Cut him to get a better player on the team. It is that simple.

Street hasn't shown anything in the last 2 years to stand out.

We need a WR that can get separation and behind defenses.

We is this better player going to come from?

The Practice Squad, other teams Practice Squad, street FAs.

Are you saying Street is the best possible option for the Cowboys anywhere in the world?

You see people come off the street and play great for a number of teams. We seem to struggle to plug in guys who have been here for years. I think it's our system that asks these guys to do too much to get open.

We don't run creative routes. It's very vanilla. OCs scheme players open, we ask players to just get open. Brandon Weeden should have had quick release routes, instead you have him holding the ball forever just to check it down.... Made no sense.

No, but he was a draft pick and to give up on him so early when the chances of someone else coming in and playing remarkably better are slim to none.

How he got here is irrelevant.

He has produced nothing in 2 years. He won't be missed or even picked up.

Butler did more in one game with a 67 yd reception.
