Darren McFadden appreciation thread

one game...

happy for the guy, but one game... and a game we lost none the less....

silver linings are for movies.

Dmac did look good, but Dallas found a way to lose anyway !!!!!

No Tony, no Dez, no backup QB...that's how they found a way to lose. Unfortunately, there's no relief in sight.

Said it since he was signed. He's our best RB. Great speed. Balance could be better. But it's all about the guys up front. Threat of a passing game also helps.

He was great....C Mike....not so much. Looks like our coaches knew what they were doing with these guys after all.

Cmike looked real explosive, but our coaches suck balls. Dmac did play great though!

Yeah I agree he hit the hole with a burst but he couldn't get off the bench. I think the way it's going to play out is if Dmac plays well again next week he'll get the carries but if not they won't hesitate to make a move - at least I hope.

I thought Randle was playing well until he got hurt the few carries he got. But yeah, McFadden definitely showed us something today. Has a little in him I didn't think he had.

That's because our coaches are chicken spit of change! They are scared at PR and at RB. They have no balls and our season is over!

A lot of people.........

We're 6 games in and he's played well in 1. I think the DMC supporters are actually the ones eating it

It's what I've been saying for a while. McFadden is a better fit for the offense and just needed to get some carries to warm him up. Randle, is at best a #2 RB and I question if he can do it in this scheme where you have to run hard into the hole and make decisive cuts.

I think with Murray, the issue (outside of the fumbles) was that he would leave yards on the field on big plays. Block for 20, he may get 10. Block for 15, he might get 5. But by the same token, he gained yards that weren't there. He was incredible at getting skinny and finding the crease and making that 9 yard gain when it's blocked for 3 yards. Or the play that is blocked for 0 yards and he would get 2 yards. So 'leaving a lot of meat on the bone' with Murray would often come when he's made a large gain and doesn't account for the yards he gained when it wasn't blocked all that well. In the end, it made for a great RB when healthy.

With Randle, he just doesn't have the power and explosiveness. And I think he knows it and starts to dance and over-cut instead of hitting the lane properly.

McFadden is more in line with Murray. But, I don't think he quite has the big play ability Murray has. McFadden will gain 8 when it's blocked for 4 yards and will miss some spots here and there. He tends to fall down easily and lose his balance compared to Murray.

But either way, after watching this game I think it's pretty clear that McFadden > Randle at this point.

I feel vindicated. I thought he would take the job if given a real chance.
