2-4 with Seattle, Green Bay, NYJ, Carolina, Miami, Philly still left on schedule. Seriously, there is no reason to risk either of them and we are better off with the higher draft pick. Not being defeatist, just realistic.

This is the National Football League, not fantasy football.

I normally wouldn't advocate tanking a season for a high draft pick, but then again teams with high draft picks don't usually have an elite QB and WR. Is there a QB coming out next draft that is worthy of a high pick?

If we can get our next QB I think you MUST consider it. Depends on what happens next week imo.

the window for romo and witten just got one year shorter... no matter how weak the nfc east is, our schedule and 2-4 record and romo out till miami will not let us get in the playoffs. don't put another year of wear and tear on romo and dez

Then again, this is football forum fantasy football discussion and has zero implications on what the team will do in reality.

I might agree if the division wasn't so bad. They're still 2-1 in division play. And they lost on the road today by 7 despite 4 2nd half turnovers (including a pick 6)...allowing a 100-yard KO return, and getting jobbed out of 4 points by the refs. McFadden had a great day vs. a solid run D & they had the TOP edge as well. Not to mention, the Giants offense did little. Romo & Dez are the difference...and despite the Boys being bad, the division may be worse.

Can't sit them if they are cleared to play, no matter how far out we are. It sends the wrong message to the team.

Oh it will happen as we continue to go winless. There won't be much question about it. I also hope they sit Witten...it's time for Escobar to get all the reps so we can evaluate him to see if he's got anything. If not, cut him loose next season.

If they go 3-1 or 4-0 then why would you sit them? They haven't lost those games yet and they shouldn't be penciled in as losses until it happens.

The window for Romo might have been last year or even the year before that. He's a tough man but he can't take hits anymore. To think a long year off and he'll be better is a stretch. At this point I'm happy to have Romo because he's the best bet but I don't have faith he'll ever make a full slate of games ever again.

Amazingly enough, I hadnt even thought of that. But at this point, it is making more and more sense. However, you know Jerry and Garrett are not smart enough to do it. Too much pride and stupidity.

With Romo back, I have faith that we can beat any team. Even with Garrett as our head coach. However, if we are more than 2 games below 500 by the time he comes back, it makes little sense. At this rate we could have a top 5 draft pick and a shot at the next franchise signal caller.
