Bought 6 movie set - Star Wars 1-6

Ok. So I wanted to refresh my viewing memory of the Star Wars saga do that come December I am all caught up.

My opinion of the prequels hasn't changed much.

Only thing is I knew now to look for references to Plageius, thenDuku/Tyranus dealio, Sifo.Dilas story and retcon.

The Vader story is all you get from this. It's the only thing really.

Good actors just look bad here. Ewan, Natalie, Liam, Samuel...etc.... The movie runs like a bunch of one liners.

I do think anakin was perfectly cast. (I know that's not popular) He embodies the "turn" to the dark side.

Obi wan has wayyyyy tooooo many lines where he is chastising anakin.

Anyway. Half way through Revenge of the Sith.

Ps. Darts Maul dies way too fast. He has a brother though = Savage Opress.... Love the names.... Maul and Savage. Lol

A friend purchased the box set for his daughter, it came in blu ray, and sd....
since he doesn't have a blu ray player, mailed em to me... I'm going to start watching end of the month.

Prequals too me are fun even if they are below the quality of the original 3. Episodes 4-6 ( original )= Lord Of The Rings. Episodes 1-3= The Hobbit

I guess I am in the minority but I enjoyed the prequel trilogy. Not to say it was as good as it could have been but I personally do not think it is as bad as some make it out to be. Also, my son bought me that set for my birthday!!!! time to watch it again before December.

I definitely enjoyed the prequels. I think they get dinged too much for not being as good as the originals

Disney is gonna re-release at the theaters, the original trilogy before The Force Awakens. The theater cuts, not the George Lucas cgi lovefest of his.

I always thought they should have kept Darth Maul in the prequels longer, he could have been the Darth Vader of the prequels. Even though I love Christopher Lee, Count Dooku was almost unnecessary. Have Anakin be the one to avenge Qui-gon's death later in the movies instead of Obi-Wan, which turns him and is more emotional. I don't know something like that.
