I guess I'm in the minority, but getting through Jessica Jones is proving to be a chore. I'm currently on Episode 11. I personally don't think it's anywhere as good as Daredevil. So far I've found the story to be somewhat boring. I still plan on finishing it though because I'm a fan of super hero shows, but to me it's worse than Daredevil, Agents of SHIELD, Agent Carter, Gotham, the Flash, and Arrow.

Wow, I got five episodes into the flash and quit. AOS is a slog. I think JJ was a lot better than both of them. Season 2 of Gotham has been totes amazeballs.

Edit: Jessica Lucas is the most beautiful woman in both the comic universe's.
 
Just finished this series, two things
1) Actress who played Jessica Jones was brutal
2) Actress who played Trish Walker is one of the best looking women I've seen in a long while

If you don't like the first 5 episodes of the Flash you probably won't like the rest of them. I thought Agents of Shield really picked up in the second half of season 1 personally. I actually liked season 1 of Gotham more than season 2, but like both of them a lot.

I would say it's between Morena Baccarin from Gotham and Shantel VanSanten from the Flash.

I skipped at lot of AOS but jumped back on during season two, it improved greatly. I think the main problem with DC shows is the have 22 episode runs, and Gotham seemed to be really stretched out during season one. Two seems to have more focus and pacing.

Morena is absolutely gorgeous. Getting better with age. Don't know the other girl.

Did you watch Constantine?
 
It wasn't bad. Had a great villain, I can't say it's a show I can see being enjoyable for a long series.

No, I kind of wish I had though. He guest starred one an episode of Arrow before. Was it any good? I may go back and see if I can find it anywhere.

The main character was an excellent casting decision. The rest were a little hit or miss, but it had some nice episodes and was heading in the right direction. Worth catching if you are at a superhero loss for a tv show.

This pretty much sums it up for me. The first few episodes were really good then the story tailed off. Sloppy is a good word. The last episode is ok and I loved the final scene - that was really well done.

After the first few episode I thought it was going to be a dark and intelligent. Unfortunately, most of the show was characters doing stupid things to advance the plot and drag it out for 13 episodes. I did like the casting choices and I'd be interested in another season.

Cons:
  • I was initially surprised that they toned down her and Luke Cage's powers that much. I was expecting cars to be lifted and some bad flying. But, after thinking it through it would actually make sense for them to not be Avengers level in order to fit into what they envision with the Defenders.
  • I am concerned about Trish Walker being in this show because of the potential for them introducing her as Hellcat. Fairly annoying character imo.
  • Might have been a few shows too long. They could have cut two shows worth of material over the last third and made a better 11 show season.

Pros:
  • I was not so sure about this show because I did not like the casting choice for Jessica and thought it would be hard to believe Doctor Who as the Purple Man. But, they both ended up winning me over early on. They were right and I was wrong.
  • I liked how they already set up Nuke as a future nemesis. He is a good villain for any one of these NetFlix characters (even though the only one he ever fought in the comics was Daredevil).

Never Watched Daredevil, but the Cinematographer of the last season and the coming season is a really good commercial DP... I expect it to look good.
 
Finally got around to finishing this. Didn't binge watch as I was mixing it with other shows on my DVR. I very much enjoyed it. Didn't mind the JJ casting, David Tennant did a fairly good job though every now and then I kept expecting him to pull a sonic screwdriver out of his suit jacket. Loved that Rosario Dawson showed up too.
 
ok - wild. i never expected it to be this...dark i suppose. like the premise. never really knew about her as a super hero so trying to do some research on her "powers".

fly - not seen it yet but one site said she could
strength. seen it. check.
can take a hit. not wolverine by any stretch but a hit.

and that's that. looks like the bartender is going to be luke cage. digging the setup so far. would love to see what they have planned for the defenders coming up.
