No! He should be smiling. We just beat the Commanders on the road. Try going 24 hours without crying. It will do you some good.

You're right..

I'll just stay off here and let everyone enjoy the win.. As meaningless as it was..

If nothing else... Dan Bailey is incredible. That's what I took from this game.

When the players are open, and the QB can't get the read or can't deliver the ball on target, then the problem is not the OC or the head coach. I don't know what you guys were seeing tonight, but there were plays there to be made that Cassel just couldn't make.

This.

Cassel was having a real Charles Dickens of a time trying to beat their blitz, and failing miserably.

Marinelli changing the scheme up was a pleasantl surprise for 2+ quarters and part of the third. Going to 3 man rushes at times when Cousins is rattled with pressure just doesnt make sense. Claibourne single man coverage on the game tying touchdown with 40 some odd seconds. How does that coverage get called? That was a horrible play call. Still allot to be desired from the vanilla defense and offense coaching philosophy.

Running a play before the 2 minute warning almost bit us in the behind....time management is still an issue and it doesn't seem like we have a clue most times....I'll give Marinelli props though his boys came to play tonight.

Yeah and the last play before the field goal probably should have been a run. I was terrified Cassel was going to get sacked. I wanted to run it up the gut, let the clock go down to 1 second and then kick the field goal. It almost bit us in the ***, they were coming

First, Dallas could not have round-the-clock all the way out. Even if they had force the Commanders to exhaust their timeouts, they still would've got the ball back with about 25 seconds remaining. Secondly, McFadden running out of bounds was HIS mistake, not the coaching staff's. He's been playing football for close to 20 years – he has to be smart enough to recognize a game situation without being told by a coach. Same principle applies to the following play. He has to be smart enough to realize that once he has the first down, he can just go down. If that had happened, then Dallas CAN run the clock out.

That's not a coaching error – it's entirely up on the player to know your situation.

I thought the same thing, but the three fumbles in the game had me second guessing it at the last minute.

Yeah I also worried we'd get hit in the backfield for a loss. So yeah basically nothing felt safe haha.

but me as a coach would bring it up to the players and remind them the situation, coach them in that moment on instructions. I just think Garrett is incompetent

I'm upset about hurting our draft position but seeing you guys bash the offensive staff brings a smile to my face.

Btw, thanks Marinelli for waiting this long to try and stop a team.

You're the worst kind of fan.

How creative can he get with cassel at the wheel? Come on now.

See 2009 NE Patriots for the creativity with Cassel, just kidding you, he looks like a backup playing IMO no emotional connection with the players and how the game is working.

We have been calling for that all year. 3rd and long, bring the blitz! We are finally seeing it and guess what? IT WORKS!

In typical Cowboy fashion though our teams gives up a TD with the game on the line.

linehan you piece of crap!!! im tired of uninspired, no imagination, vanilla so much so that the opponent is calling out your play calling. grow a freakin pair you moron!!!

I don't understand the refusal to incorporate the jet sweep as a regular feature of the offense. It works as a play itself and would create fantastic misdirection in the regular run game.

He did. I still hate the three man rush on third down to watch the QB sip tea only to throw the ball to an open receiver and have a third and forever be converted.

I also hate "the let them score a TD in under a minute defense" in the 4th quarter when you've shut them down practically all game.

I'm sure Garrett pulled Eli Manning aside and told him to tell Jennings not to score.

Oh, wait. Sorry got confused. That was the Giants in week one. How did that work out for them?
