Marinelli has gone out of his comfort zone for most of this year. We switched from zone coverage to man coverage to accommodate Claiborne and Carr. In the Patriots game we came up with a weird 3-3-5 scheme and had Rolando rush the QB. Now we blitzed a lot against the Skins.

Where we need Marinelli to get out of his comfort zone is to stop playing guys like Church and go after a legitimate SS. And hopefully we can stay reasonably healthy on defense under Garrett for 1 season.

Yeah, but it doesn't help when you let them return the ball to the 40 or whatever and then get a facemask to have them start at there 40!

congrats to marinelli for coaching his *** of tonight. he went out of his normal comfort zone, schemed and put his players in a position to succeed just like many of us who have been asking our coaches to do so but!

linehan you piece of crap!!! im tired of uninspired, no imagination, vanilla so much so that the opponent is calling out your play calling. grow a freakin pair you moron!!!

I did not know Linehan was out there fumbling the ball 3 times - two of which were on drives that were building great momentum to open up the play book with some field position.
