The Kellen Moore era has begun.

I know the numbers don't look great. He made a couple bad INTs....Locking onto WRs... But for the first time all season...(Including when Romo was healthy)...the offense looked capable of moving the football.

Considering he had limited snaps during the week....Moore made quick decisions. Knew where to go w/ the football.

And maybe most importantly...gave the team a spark....and hope.

I can't see anything but positives going forward. Give Kellen this week to learn from his mistakes....and he will. All things considered....He probably got maybe 30 snaps during the week to get ready...which is nothing. Not bad for a guy getting his first NFL action against a playoff contender that was desperate for a win.

Haters are gonna hate.

But he inspired the team tonight. And for those that can't see that he has the "IT" factor just don't understand football.

Your boy looked decent Floaty..........made a bad pick in the endzone locking onto Dez, but other than that he was serviceable.

I think we might have found our backup QB for next season.

Just wait....You haven't seen anything yet. Gonna laugh when they actually start to work the offense to his strengths...and give him a weeks worth of #1 reps.

I'm not going to over react in any direction. I'm not going to say he sucks, and I'm not going to say he's good enough to start some type of QB controversy, I'll just stay right in the middle where it's nice and cozy and allow things to play out.

Nothing like throwing to the other team being game planned

Problem is we don't need another QB that can't get the ball more than 10 yards down field. On his hail Mary, he couldn't heave the ball 50 yards. His longest pass of the night that was completed was a diving, spectacular 11 yard catch by Dez in front of Bailey's doinked FG. If Dallas thinks he is a legitimate backup QB, then Jerry and Stephen are a lot worse at evaluating talent than I thought.

he was seeviceable. and teams will eventually gameplan for him. Jets knew nothing on the guy.

let Romo play whatever time he has left. and let Kellen battle w a qb we draft.

I think if he really shows something these next two weeks and learns under Tony we might have something. The good thing is Tony is no Brett Favre prick when it comes to helping guys . He's always engaged with them.

BTW he looks like Kevin Sweeney in uniform.

He's bigger than Russell Wilson....seriously

Do you honestly think they game planned for Kellen getting reps?....He may have taken 1st team reps.....but he was just following the game plan. Don't be surprised to see more shots down field next week.

No I'm banking on a first round talent that is 21-22 years old that has time to develop behind Romo for a year or 2.

I'm not relying on a 26-27 year old backup as the future.

And who is your guy? The only guy I'd take in this draft is Paxton Lynch. Problem is.....He may not declare...and/or we may not draft high enough. All others...I'd pass.

Moore has broken the ice for the time being and has managed to indicate that he's possibly an upgrade from Matt Cassel. That's definitely a far cry from establishing a controversy vs. Romo, however. Moore will be afforded time to learn from his mistakes but it's also very likely that opposing offenses will have time to adjust to his game and find ways to counteract his tendencies. Nevertheless, he simply offered a measure of hope that he might be able to prove himself a candidate to serve as Romo's backup at some future date. For now, that's as far as it goes.

The guy I really want won't be in the draft this year. But yes I do like Paxton but I also like Goff as wel. I don't think you could go wrong with either.

I get to watch a lot of USC football living in SoCal and I'm a fan of Kessler as well.

But the guy I really want is Baker Mayfield but he obviously won't be in the draft this year.
