I think we need a new starters over Church and Wilcox, and they can be depth.

Church is a helluva lot better then Wilcox. I have no issues with Church being a backup next year at SS. Wilcox I don't want on my flag football team

In the limited time I saw the game - Wilcox looked like animal out there.

If you are referring to a dog, then yes I agree. Wilcox is the worst player on this defense and it's not even close

Not really, Dallas gave up that long run for a TD a few plays after Church left the field.

IMO, many tackles doesn't mean "best."

Yes, he's made a lot, but I can't count how many times I've seen him throw a shoulder, to no avail, or completely whiff.

I think he's one of many guys that needs to be replaced and the sooner, the better.

This. Eugene the "Hitting Machine" was a great tackler for the Boys but what most people conveniently missed is that most of his tackles were made downfield way past the LOS.

Church makes a lot of tackles but he makes very few plays behind the LOS and rarely makes big plays beyond the occasional forced fumble. His position could use an upgrade. With that said; get well, Barry!

Honestly I think Church has been a better tackling safety than anything we have had since Darrin Woodson or Roy Williams. Hope Church finds a better organization/team with leadership to see him through his career. Watching Durant on the Falcons yesterday, he looked pretty good and pretty happy.
Church is not a good cover corner but he wasn't afraid to tackle like some of our defensive starters namely Carr and Claiborne. These 2 clowns are an embarrassment to the CB position and the uniform and Wilcox is not far behind.
Just sayin.

Don't pay CB to tackle, 21 never liked to tackle and would do so only when it was absolutely required...you to pay your SS and FS to tackle. That's their job.
