Wasnt there like a rule not to make these kinds of threads

You can make these threads but only on Tuesdays in coach rant zone when it's raining outside unless jerry gives a press conference that says you can bash Jerry, then we will create a jerry zone for you to post on that subject however if you post that subject anywhere else you will be banned!
Lol, I'm sorry I've been drinking and I'm just joking! Please don't ban me!

C'mon guys enough. We all know the situation. Draft, free agency and the cap.

Let' move on.

No you are right, lets move on here:

Draft: Jerry will surely screw this up and NOT draft a QB
Free Agency: No doubt he will resign some overblown baby like Dez Bryant for big money' (Kraken?)
Cap: I foresee a restructuring possibly of Romos contract to extend him another couple years because no doubt he can play for another 4 to 5 years.

Ok what next?

Perfect love it - whatever your opinion, hyperbole included - great!

So long as we don't have to wallow in the misery of a lost season day after day I'm all for it and while the sarcasm of your future misery is noted at least we're moving on so thanks for that too.

Let me be the first to welcome you to a new year - the draft is up next!

At first glance, this doesnt look like such a great draft to be up high. The #1 QB will probably be gone when we pick. The best player appears to be a DE and we dont need him. Can we pass on him? OL we dont need. So that would leave one of the top OLBers or the Florida State Corner. We could use either one. I would have liked to see a monster DT there, but there doesnt appear to be one worthy of the pick.

You know what Roy - I think we had a misunderstanding which I'll take responsibility for. The comment that I posted was in regards to a thread somebody made that had a really childish title about Garrett. Without knowing it the thread then got combined under an article from Scheffer. I was really responding to the OP and not the position on Garrett. Then you responded to that and I think you thought I was referring to Schefter's article when in fact I wasn't. Trust me i'm just as frustrated as you..

Again - my bad.

As far as your post, yes the Browns simply cannot let Goff (or whoever the franchise guy they anoint) get by them because they have to sell something to their fan base so that does mean we'll be looking at whoever the number two pick is. If he's the guy let's get him. If not I really like Elliott, I think an explosive back really opens ip the offense again and I like Treadwell opposite Dez. Too bad about Jaylon Smith. He's a stud but we just could never pull the trigger on him waiting for a year long rehab.

I'm ok with it as long as a new offense is installed and the st coach, strength coach, db coach and wr coach are fired....which probably won't all happen so I am not.

Love Elliot, but I cant justify the #4 pick in the draft for a RB. Unless you are telling me this guy is Peterson squared for sure. Even then, its a risk at #4. Unless we trade down a few spots and pick up a few picks to around 12 and take him. Thoughts?

Agree but if we do move down and snag Elliott at say 10 and grab another late around first I would be happy as hell. I do believe we are going to address safety and possibly wide receiver in FA which I think narrows the draft prospects to RB and defense. I would not be thrilled going corner in the first round though.

I read an article that made a lot of sense that they are going to move forward with the rookie at FS and not at corner. So we are still going to have a major hole at corner. Thankfully, Carr will be toast this year or next when his contract runs out. So we will need another corner.

There is actually some good RB's available in FA coming up. Now I would like nothing more than a young stud RB, but I cant justify the 4th pick on one.

For the love of...

It is 2018 people!
