Dane Brugler just turned Dallas Mock on its head

He seems like a bad arse for sure, just not sure that is a need over a DT or a QB that early. Time will tell how the draft falls..........

4. Dallas Cowboys: Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss
The Cowboys will consider a quarterback here and need help on defense, but the window is closing with Tony Romo at quarterback and Dallas needs to surround him with more talent. Treadwell, who is similar to Dez Bryant with the way he attacks the football, would be an ideal fit opposite Dez.

lets discuss
wouldnt hate this pick, but i see it as no chance. This team doesnt have enough balls to go around for the players they have. Dallas has a nice set of WRs with Dez, TW beasley and the addition of Butler. Add in Wittens 70 catches. Like the idea but not gonna happen

If he is best player on the board take him. At number 4 there is no reason we can't get a blue chip prospect to help this team. Pick any spot on the team. .....any position

BPA applies when you're picking 15th and the 7th best player is still on the board. We're picking 4th. Unless Treadwell is the 4th best player in the draft and the first 3 go in the first 3 picks, he isn't BPA.

Best WR in the draft, would be a solid pick at 4.

However, I don't see how we pass on Goeff if he is sitting there when we are on the clock.

From what I can tell Laquon needs a good deal of improvement in running routes, so in all likelihood by the time he's up to speed, Romo's window would have closed (if it hasn't already).

If we had Romo's successor in place I'd be all for it, but we need to get him first (hopefully this year).

I see both Goff and Wentz off the board by the time Dallas picks, so I would be pretty good with this if he is their BPA. This season showed that there is nothing noteworthy beyond Dez at WR.

Another stud outside receiver opens up the underneath stuff for Witten, Beasley, the run game etc. We absolutely do need another receiver...the question is where and who.

Signing Dez to a huge deal and then spending the 4th overall pick on a WR is a pretty terrible use of resources in terms of building a complete team if you ask me...just not an important enough position. There are at least 7-8 WR's in FA that would suit our needs perfectly fine in upgrading the WR position to what we need.

Yea, good point bro.

Personally, I think 4 is a little high for Treadwell.

I see the top 4 players in this draft as Tunsul, Bosa, Goeff, and Lynch...............we are guaranteed one of them, now is not the time to get cute.

Wentz would have to crush Senior Bowl & Combine on level not seen before to get in top 3.
