10 WRs Dallas Cowboys could target in 2016 NFL Draft

Although wide receiver isn't the Cowboys' biggest need entering the 2016 offseason, it was apparent after Dez Bryant broke his foot that Dallas' offense could use another playmaker on the outside.

The Cowboys entertained the idea of drafting a receiver last year, but instead signed five undrafted rookie free agents at the position.

Several mock drafts have even gone as far as to predict the Cowboys using the fourth overall pick on the position.

To get a better idea of the top wide receivers in the 2016 draft class, here are 10 to keep an eye on.

1.) Laquon Treadwell, Ole Miss. He's being compared to Dez Bryant and DeAndre Hopkins. Nothing else really needs to be said. He'll likely be the first receiver drafted. Treadwell (6-2, 210) finished his final season at Ole Miss catching 82 passes for 1,153 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Expert: "Treadwell has exceptional ballskills and catching radius with strong hands to pluck away from his body or scoop off his shoelaces - if the throw is anywhere within a few feet of his body, he'll attack it. He isn't a sudden athlete, but plays with athletic twitch and power to be a threat after the catch." - Dane Brugler, CBSSports.com.

2.) Michael Thomas, Ohio State. At 6-3, 210 pounds, Thomas would be an ideal option on the outside to take pressure off of Bryant or step into a lead role if Bryant suffered another injury. In his last two seasons at OSU, Thomas put up nearly identical numbers. In 2015: 56 receptions, 781 yards and nine touchdowns. In 2014: 54 / 799 / 9.

Expert: "Michael plays the position in a similar fashion as Demaryius Thomas. He can take short passes and surprises with acceleration and balance to pick up yards after the catch. A large portion of Thomas' catches were made within ten yards of the line of scrimmage, but he can also win vertically and adjusts to the football while it is in the air." - Josh Norris, Rotoworld.com...

If this team can get Treadwell and trade back into the first and get Wentz I'd be all for it. Get collins in the third and we have literally got our 3 future triplets.

If you trade back into the first you probably dont have your 3rd anymore

Id say we wouldnt have our second, a top of 2nd will get us back into the 1st if paired with our 4th. Who knows what will happen. Thats my dream scenario
