The right decision.

You sell out when you are 1 player away. The Cowboys aren't and Hardy didn't look anything like he was that "1 player" anyway.

Build the roster through the draft and through free agent upgrades that don't generate all the buzz in the world. Stay away from players who are liabilities no matter how sweet the deal is. Let someone else deal with the headache. It's hard enough manage a roster of 60 or so guys. Adding in toddlers who need babysitting is just an unneeded distraction and wasted energy.

Greg Hardy's stay in Dallas looks to be all but over.

The controversial defensive end won't be given another chance with the Dallas Cowboys after his 2015 season. According toCowboys insider Mike Fisher, the club is reportedly "done" with with Hardy and his pass-rushing talents.

A little under a month ago, Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reported that the Cowboys were not expected to re-sign Hardy. Cole cited Hardy's inability to stay out of trouble as the main reason.
