Would you have traded Leary & 2nd rounder for Chandler Jones?

I would have. Even with the crazy synthetic marijuana story and final contract year. Would have solved our DE problem.

naw leary is great depth and a starter on most teams now if Jones didn't have that baggage , yes I would have

Would have traded 3rd and Leary which is the equivalent of AZ 2nd rounder.

Exactly it 61 vs 67

They both have one year left.

CJones at 8m and then can be franchised for 14m
JCooper at 2m and then can be 5th optioned for 10m

Leary is a starting guard which is much harder to find than another TE. Even if Chandler is good at
blocking he's still worth less than Leary. I hope the Cowboys are able to keep him around because
he's not a bad player. Besides, we just signed our blocking TE back.

You do realize that just because Dallas tendered Leary at a 2nd round choice that he might not be viewed in the same light, right?

That means the Rams have themselves a first rounder in Case Keenum.

I think Leary is better than Cooper

I think they have liked Cooper since the draft.

Both have injury issues...one can get better...the other will get worse in time.

Makes no difference one way or the other now.

They did not trade Leary and the Pats did not send us Jones.

Chandler Jones is a defensive end lol

All Pro DE Chandler Jones, not JAG TE Scott Chandler...

No duh, that is why it is framed as a hypothetical

That's what you'd think, but then you see a team throw out big money for Jeremy Parnell.
