The Rams trade yesterday has possibly pushed up the value for QB's in this draft. At some point I think there is a strong possibility that Dallas may be taking a QB higher than where they are currently projected to go. If that happens, which of these options would you prefer (or be least objectionable):

Lynch (1st round - top 10)
Cook (1st round 20-27 range)
Prescott or Hackenberg (2nd round - not necessarily at 34)
Cardell Jones (3rd round)
Brisett (4th round)

Obviously, this may involved trades in some cases to be in the ranges noted above.

Lynch is the only one I would want and that would be in a trade back, maybe Cook in the 3rd.
Prescott or Hackenberg we could pick them up after they get cut in a couple years. Dont want either.

Cook in the 20-27 range and Prescott in the 2nd round would have me slamming my head with my car door.

Faulty logic.

You draft players based on how you value the players. Simple as that.
Unless backed into a corner--which Dallas is absolutely not--you don't let outside forces dictate how you draft.

But there's a decent chance they may like one of these players higher than where they are generally projected. Maybe they view Prescott as a potential starter, perhaps the last potential starter on their board. There have been reports that Denver would be interested in Prescott with their 2nd round pick. In that case, I could see Dallas taking Prescott at the back of the 2nd round (getting in front of Denver).

This is another post I wish I could "like" more than one. Where is the "super like" button?

Yeah, That's different.
You take them where you think they deserve to be taken.

Yes, I'm talking more of a Travis Frederick situation where the Cowboys may have the player rated higher than where they are generally projected to go. If I had to guess that would be Lynch in the top 10 or Prescott as high as the end of the 2nd.
