Rumors that we're trying to get back into the first for the 5th year option on a QB.

I can't imagine Lynch being available.

I hope we don't do this but I got a bad feeling Cook or Hackenberg may be a Cowboy by tonight.

Just heard on the radio that Cook says we are one of the teams interested in him.

Broaddus said they had a scout flyout to look at a QB yesterday. (Could be anybody so who knows)

I think cook looks pretty good. Looks like he had a hell of an oline though. Hard to judge his pocket awareness and scrambling ability but looks way accurate.

I kill you!

I liked the post because it made me laugh... no disrespect for Cook because I really dont know much about him. If he is as inaccurate as some profiles say then I cant support his selection,,, inaccuracy is a deal killer!

Gotta trust the scouts on this one. I've heard he's inaccurate, with a really poor attitude, but I haven't watched him play.
If he's a cowboy I'll root for him regardless.

I don't think he makes anyone better. He doesn't look like a special talent to me. He'll probably do a serviceable job as a starter but he is nothing to look forward to post Romo.

Also, he's probably good enough to keep us hanging around 6-10 - 9-7 so we'll never be in position to draft high and get a top QB.

I like Hackenberg > Cook just because the upside with Hackenberg is higher.

I wouldn't draft either but if they must draft a QB then I hope it's Hack.

Cook looks way accurate? LOL.

I probably won't watch any more of the draft if we move up for Connor Cook.

It would be that much of a stupid buzz kill.

My first thoughts on this earlier in the year was that Dallas would follow the New England and Denver plan on of taking Romo's successor in the 2nd round. I think the Cowboys thinking on this changed when they saw Osweiler leave Denver. I think they probably feel around Romo has three more years. They want their QB on a 5 year contract settled so that he's playing at least a couple of years before he's a free agent.

I really can't even begin to describe how pissed/disappointed/flabbergasted/insane/drunk/depressed I will be if they trade UP for Connor Cook. 5th year option or not, for chrissakes.
