All these guys are getting on him for social media and ****. Doesn't everyone know that if someone didn't put it on his twitter account or wherever they put the video that they could have just sold it off to TMZ, ********, ect. This was something that was vindictive and disgusting and I do actually have sympathy for Tunsil.

I had sympathy but it's looking worse for him..especially after seeing this:

Laremy Tunsil admits to taking money from Ole Miss coaches

La'El Collins got screwed so much more though..

It's a different world.

Sure, Tunsil is responsible for doing something this stupid, but 20 years ago, there's no way anything like this could have come to light an hour before the draft. Teams backed off because they didn't have the chance to vet out the situation, and he dropped.

Technology and "advancement" is not such a great thing. The massive number of people literally addicted like crack to their phones is astonishing. People are living virtual lives already, and it's only going to get worse.

And now, it's so easy to damage or ruin somebody's life in these manners. It'll lead to more violence and isolation ultimately.

No one hacked this clown's account. He's just not very computer savvy and had no idea a delete button exists.

Tunsil was suspended most of his senior season for taking money, which he admitted to. Then when his teammate, Robert Nkemdiche, who was one time considered at top 5 pick, made national news for falling out of a hotel window (and dropped to the 29th pick), he said that Tunsil was in the room as well. Then the photo was posted last night, whether by him or someone else really doesn't matter as it still shows a potential suspension (at least with today's NFL rules) in waiting in the future.

So, no, I don't really feel sorry for him. After all of that, the guy still got drafted with the 13th pick in the first round. There are a lot of other players who have paid a much worse penalty for doing a lot less.

13 is a very fortunate spot for him given his extracurricular actions.

How about not doing stupid things knowing you're in for the biggest payday of your life?

This is my thinking. I get your young, but still. You're surrounded by your elders telling you the right things to do and say to make a ton of money. You can't just listen a little bit?

Apparently "every college kid" does weed or so I've heard. I'm dumbfounded at all the "what's the big deal?" responses I heard last night at a draft party. Unbelievable.

How do you know who he was surrounded with? Lol you know what, forget it. I forgot I was on the internet where everybody lived sqeaky clean as a teenager and listened to their (elders).

Tunsil still got drafted with the 13th pick in the first round. All things considered that is pretty good for him.

Sounds like it was at least 2 years ago.
Miami said they had researched it.
They got really lucky and possibly got the drafts best player--and a kid who has tested clean throughout college--in the mid 1st round.

Tunsil owned up to it and knows it was dumb.

Randy Gregory says hello. Yes, these things do seem dumb when millions of dollars are on the line.

Gregory had all kinds of issue through college. Tunsil has never failed a test.
You do know that both Bosa and Elliott also were known partiers (and smokers), right? Way more of a rep than Tunsil.
They too cleaned things up the last year.
Tunsil's issue was that a vengeful person posted a 2 year old photo on his account. otherwise, this was never an issue for present day.

It sounds like he comes from a very disfunctional family if his step father is willing to cost him millions of dollars and fracture the family like that...imagine if a man was between your mother and you and doing these things..
And I can't pretend to understand what life is like for someone who has to ask his coach for money so that his mother and her dead beat husband can pay their rent.

I imagine this guy feels like nothing more than a big paycheck to these people.
He sounds like he needs to spend some time with Tyron Smith.
We can pretend we would handle things differently behind our computers. But we have never lived his life and we can't understand his emotions or pressures.

I doubt the adults he has been around have shown him the right path.
