Everything comes back around nothing really hasn't changed everything has its space or its time imo and i really believe this..

With us drafting Zeke ( which some here know i was very very much in favor of) Zeke is pretty much setting the stage for the return of the RB in the NFL imo..

Mainly because of next years RB class and it is loaded, so we know this is a copy cat league which is y i love our way of going about building this team and the philosophy behind it...

Our team is pretty much built know to play anytime of offensive game it takes to win we can and should out score you or we can grind out an 4point win in the 4th 4 mins left I'm excited about it..

So if Zeke do what Zeke should and probably exceed you No the Nfl is going to want to "try" copy that and actually put more focus on the run game imo

Especially if we win the Super Bowl

Live in Nashville and the Titians are basically building a similar squad with Henry and Murray they want to run an bully except we have an Elite WR and QB and possibly and Elite RB of coarse he has to prove it but i have no doubt he will

just my opinion as i analyize our squad and compare a lil

I have never devalued the running game or RBs.
I don't care if this is a passing league or not.
I am sticking with ground and pound.
And now the league may becoming around to my offensive philosophy again. I never left it.

Same here dude. Exactly the same. I have never been one to just go with the flow or follow the latest spring scent. Ground & pound controls clock and demoralizes a defense. It has always had a place in the NFL and that will never change. I'm glad to see it back in big D where it belongs. True balance on offense is the key.

We brought it back in 2014.

Look at the difference it made in Andy Dalton this year when they copied our philosophy of good line play and good HB play.

Cincy may have the 2nd best OL in the NFL and while they dont have a singular stud, they have 2 very good HBs im Gio and Hill

I think this board will need to make a Zeke Forum soon. All Zeke threads to be posted there:) What is it, seems like one in 3 threads are Zeke threads.

Rant threads go to the Rant Zone, NFL threads go to the NFL Zone, draft threads go to the Draft Zone. Might as well have a Zeke Zone. :D

Drafting an RB early wouldn't have made sense for a lot of teams, but it does for ours. Zeke may or may not pan out, but you have to at least appreciate the effort of trying to put the best talent you can find behind that line and seeing where things go.

I only see two on the front page

We're in the process of seeing a running back renaissance. Four running backs may very well go in the first round next year.

The Adrian Peterson era is coming to a close and the Ezekiel Elliott era is about to begin. I told my friend Elliott might not be the best running back in the league, but neither was Emmitt Smith. Barry Sanders was a better running back than him, but Emmitt was on a great team, with a great offensive line, receiver, and quarterback. Elliott may ultimately not be as good as Gurley or Fournette, but his position will almost certainly be better.

Gurley, Gordon, Elliott, Fournette, Chubbs... it's going to be very clear which teams have elite running games and which don't, but maybe not for the reason most people think. The reason is because of the impact it can have on the passing game and on the defense.

I think the Titans are actually on a great path with Murray and Henry as well.

I agree. Running the football is winning football.

Not only am I excited about Zeke but I am excited about McFadden and Morris. McFadden was laying people out last year and running hard. Morris is a downhill runner that falls forward. I like it!

Ummm you live and die by QB play.. Especially if your Defense is suspect. Teams can commit to stopping the run.

Defenses are being built to stop the pass. Smaller linebackers, both safeties being more FS than SS. DL being picked for pass rush not for run stop. The league is very vulnerable to an offense like we have built.

Teams committed to stopping Emmitt and Murry. How did that turn out?

That is correct and what irks me the most is that the vast majority of the fans and media people alike ripping the Elliott pick is saying that is the direction the team should've went what you described here in this post in the draft with the selection of Ramsey and there wouldn't be anything wrong with their thinking the Elliott pick is similar to the Rams taking Gurley last year and did the Rams needed RB at that time no but no one blasted the Rams for taking him in fact the Rams were geniuses for taking him at 10. As for the impact Elliott will have on the offensive side of the ball on paper he's the missing piece that will elevate this offense to new heights but he hasn't done anything yet let's just hope he's as good as advertised he could be the next Emmitt Smith or the next Trent Richardson we shall see.

I thought that way BEFORE the draft.

I love the running game. That's football to me.

College football is almost unwatchable with all the gimmicky nonsense these days.

Hill. Thomas. Dorsett. Emmitt. Murray. Zeke.

It's back baby! FINALLY!

INSTEAD OF A ZEKE FORUM LET'S GO AHEAD AND SUGGEST A RUNNING BACK FORUM BECAUSE THE VALUE OF THE RB HAS BEEN NEGLECTED FOR A BIT AND WE WANT TO REVEL IN ITS RENAISSANCE.
