No reason to cover his hide. He done got paid and the operation went as planned. The nerve is firing contrary to what some think and he is progressing just as he should be. Before the end of the season he will be ready to play though I don't know that they will play him. They can keep him on pup for basically 11 weeks and then he should be ready to go
Need to change your name to DRtxstar

No need for all the suspense... Smith isn't playing.

I don't care if you believe me. I told you the truth, believing it is up to you. It doesn't change the outcome one way or the other. Smith will never play again.

What good is truth when you have nothing substantial to back it up? You can't even predict what will happen second by second in your day tomorrow, much less the future of JSmith.

You're gonna make a GREAT husband and father.........maybe you should start with a friend..

I didn't screw up his knee. I just told you about it. Shooting the messenger is all you are dong.

Tell you what... you go ahead and hold out hope while I already know the outcome. I'll be happy and you can be happy.

We had a thorough medical discussion in the other thread (under "I think there's a really good chance that Jaylon Smith will play next year") currently ~10 threads below this one.
Several doctors were chiming in including two with experience in peripheral nerves.
I walked away pretty optimistic (knock on wood)...

Then post a second by second outcome of my day tomorrow if you know the future of JSmith. Do it for me.

There is a brace he can wear for everyday use that will correct the drop foot but I'm not sure how that would respond to playing on the field.

I understand. But that has nothing to do with what I posted. A 50 something year old lady had drop foot and was back to 100% normal within a two year time-frame. That would make people wonder how you can say with absolute conviction that Smith will not come back.

Further, you went on to say that every case is different, which again begs the question how in the **** are you sure he'll never play again.

He knows the future of JSmith, but only Smith. Without giving any facts to back it up beforehand.

Why is you hope he does play, anymore relevant than my certainty he won't?
