I use a simple database program named CherryTree to store a lot of information that I might want later. For example, I keep information on French films that I might want to buy on DVD, rent on Netflix, Amazon, or whatever. So this web site, lefilmguide.com, is a treasure trove of information on French films. You can search by decade, by actor, by director, by rating, etc. Great resource. However, they've disabled the ability to copy and paste text from their site. Very annoying. It's not like I'm going to steal all their data and then set up my own site. I'm just saving small snippets of info for personal use. Totally legal under copyright law. I was having to type it into CherryTree. However, I found a FireFox addon that lets me copy and paste from the page. With RightToClick, every page shows up as it normally does. They're all set to their defaults. If, however, you encounter a page like lefilmguide.com that's blocked copying, you click on a little arrow that RightToClick has added to the Firefox toolbar and then suddenly you can copy whatever you want. Way cool.
