It's that time again

Dez was awful last year, and there's no guarantee that foot will ever be the same. I want to hear a lot less about monkeys and see fewer tantrums, too.

Well, his foot had a lot to do with how he played. And with the likes of Weeden and Cassell trying to get him the ball, Jerry Rice would have been awful too.
I don't recall any monkeys on the field, he was only seen because the media wanted to play Tarzan about it. Tantrums...ok, with Dez it's a tantrum, with anyone else, it's passion...thought all that BS was over. Guess not. When did he have a tantrum anyway?

I am never done after any game...well, I may think I'm done, or say I'm done at the moment. Disappointed, heck yeah, know the season is over even though we are mathematically in it [though I still have hope] but the next day. I'm still in, not done. Because then I start looking at, ok, what players can step up, not give up, and how they, any rookies, 2nd years players show how they can help in the future. Let's see what they have.

I was done but I was a little revived when romo came back. We looked good vs the dolphins granted it was the dolphins(they suck). But the game was over quick vs the panthers. I went Into last season expectinga sb run though can't lie. Only had those expectations 2 times in the last 2o years.

Yes, thought we had a good a shot at it last year.
After Romo was injured in that Panthers game, it was over. The next day I wanted to see any and every young player we had to get playing time at that point.

I'm super excited to see this offense. I feel Butler will earn the #2 and a contract and we look like a 12-4 playoff team again.

Defense has me markedly concerned. We need a swagger and the only way we can get that is by having a pass rush or by forcing turnovers to give our O a short field. That helps momentum and gives our D a chance to rest something that didn't happen last year. Thornton in the middle should be a reason we actually get some 3 and outs, which we never could achieve last year either.

I've watched Romo make millionaires out of average receivers....Crayton, Robinson, Austin, Beasley.

I suspect there's a little of that with Dez. He doesn't separate or run good routes. He's great with balls in the air. He's a constant babysitters' nightmare.

I want to see more from my $45 million receiver.
