Time to hold Florio accountable

hahaha...Flopio is such a tool

His prediction (or was it statement?) is, in 2016 Romo will not be the starting QB against the Browns and Manziel will be for the Browns. And Jerry Jones will be stewing because Manziel is not playing for Dallas.
 
Wow. I can't believe anyone would stick their neck out like that for Manziel. Even back then most teams knew he was a high risk player whose game probably wouldn't translate to the NFL.

Watching this makes me even more confident that that alleged Dez video doesn't exist.
 
Florio was dead wrong, but he shared the same view as many around here.
I think nearly half this forum wanted Romo out and for Dallas to draft Manziel.

Seems silly, but it got so obnoxious and ugly that for the first time, I actually started keeping track of some of the quotes....knowing that some would deny how venomous they were.

I still have that old spreadsheet with the yeahs and nays....some were very hard core and some were more mild and just ready for a change.
In any case, it was a volitile time.
Lots of enthusiasm, even if it was misguided!
 
Holy moly that guy looks and sounds like a complete tool. Absolutely terrible.

Hold the guy accountable for what? You get millions of predictions from people covering the NFL. Many turn out wrong. So what? Predictions are entertainment content. He not stating it as fact.

By bringing up material you are keeping people like this relevant. They arent in the business of being correct, theyre in the business of getting people to consume their content. Good work!

Mainly because he and NBC share the same sentiment about the Cowboys. It subtly (and sometimes not) seeps out in everything they do.
 
If my memory is correct, wasn't he the one who said that there was a video showing Dez beating up a woman in a Wal-Mart parking lot?

To this day, I know someone who's an Eagles fan who thinks that there is a video and that Jerry paid someone off to make sure it never saw the light of day. SMH.
