Time to hold Florio accountable

Florio is an idiot, but he isn't the only one making ludicrous predictions. I can probably find worse ones on this board, including some of my own.

I would rather hold him accountable for his irresponsible reporting of the Dez Wal-mart video foolishness.

If you're going to make that claim, you better have some evidence. That's the definition of slander.

He's basically the walking definition of what's wrong with, not just sports, but the media in General these days. There's no source checking, only an innnate impulse to post to Tweetagram faceasnap the first rumor you hear.

I lost all respect for him that day.

At least Schefter when asked about it, stated that he heard the rumor, but couldn't get a credible source, so he didn't report it. Either he has more journalistic integrity or he is lying so he doesn't appear to be "out-scooped".

Hold the guy accountable for what? You get millions of predictions from people covering the NFL. Many turn out wrong. So what? Predictions are entertainment content. He not stating it as fact.

His prediction (or was it statement?) is, in 2016 Romo will not be the starting QB against the Browns and Manziel will be for the Browns. And Jerry Jones will be stewing because Manziel is not playing for Dallas.
