Game Day Pre-season Cowboys vs Texans Second half game thread

From my take (at least based on tonight), he was just like Wilcox, and Church, and Heath, and Sensabaugh, and Keith Davis, and Lynn Scott…

yep all these guys are always chasing plays, nothing is ever in front of them and they almost never make plays on the ball in the air which i thought was the whole design of this defense.

For those who can see the game, did Frasier do enough for Marinelli to kick Wilcox to the curb?

He has played well, but I think the real question is whether Swanson and/or Olatoye has done enough.

I don't think we keep fewer than nine DBs.

Scandrick, Claiborne, Carr and Brown are locks at corner.

Church, Jones and Heath at locks at safety.

That's seven, so Frazier and one other at the least.

My hope for Swanson is PS. I think there is something to work with. In coverage he actually turns and looks for the ball. We don't have many that do that.

At Sam Houston, Dax was always covering 1 on 1 without help including against teams like Baylor and A&M. He plays with good balance as well when in contact with the receiver. He can't cover Odell or Dez 1 on 1 but he does know how to play CB and is athletic.

Rod Smith making the backside cuts I'd like to see from Jackson.

1st and 10

Just under 11:00 left

On a separate note,

Tennessee is about to be the Michigan of 2007 and get beat by App State. puke
