Jerry never intended his stadium to be a homefield advantage, its a destination like Disney world. If you're a Bears fan living outside of Chicago, and want to go see the Bears play, would you choose to go to Dallas or Buffalo/Oakland/Detroit? No, you over pay for tickets from season ticket owners, to get a chance to watch your team playp at JERRY WORLD. Jerry could care less if his stadium is filled by Cowboy fans or that the Cowboys win.

The DFW population has grown tremendously in the past few decades, these are transplants and are only traveling from Frisco, Keller, Southlake, Flower Mound, etc......

I don't know what the stat is now. But about 4 years ago, give or take a year, there was estimated 1,000 people a day we're moving into the metroplex.
Now they didn't say how many were moving out. Bit that is a lot. And they were mostly from other states.

I am pretty sure they said a day, and not a week.

Waiting to see how bad it gets after people plop their butts down. My section isn't too bad (yet).

After every NFL fan has seen their team at Jerry World we will start to see an advantage.

I live 15 minutes away but for what it cost me to take me and my girls to one Cowboy game, I can fly them to Mexico on a real vacation.
Probably true, but when that happens, continued mediocrity will not fill that stadium.....

Get a few quick TD's, get on top and rattle Hoyer. That will keep the Bears fans quiet.
Act as if it's a raid game, and we will be fine.

Pretty sure the Cowboys had to use a silent count against the Bears on a Monday night a few years ago
I was there a few years ago when Bears were (2010 I think)there and they had close to 30'000 fans there. Heard this is more.

How do tickets get allocated - do the visiting teams in the NFL get a set allocation or is it first come first served?

Reading this thread I can see that many are saying that some Cowboys fans will have sold their tickets on to Bears fans.

Here in the UK for 'soccer' the away team gets an allocated number of tickets (normally 2 to 3 thousand but can be less or more than this) and home supporters are not allow to sell their tickets on for security reasons (due to previous crowd violence problems).

Season ticket holders broker out their seats for one. Company season tickets entertain clients and they pick the games when their home team is playing and the Party Pass are sold at large which is usually 10-30,000 additional fans.

Texas and Dallas has become during the recession a huge melting pot with fans moving in from all over the country to retire and look for work and business. They brought their fandom with them. Since 2007 over 750,000 new residents a year coming to Texas.

It's horrible how our home games are basically tours. People come to see their team and stadium and visit the berry world
