Really stupid and avoidable injury.

No need whatsoever to fight the LB for an extra 1-2 yards. Dez was right by the sideline and the LB had the angle on him. It's Week THREE and your team needs you for 3+ more months. Go out of bounds and stay healthy.

7th year in the league and he still doesn't know when to pick his spots.

Yea I hate players that fight for extra yardage. It is football, people get hurt. He came back into the game and score a touchdown - this shouldn't even be a talking point.

So a player on your favorite team was giving 100% effort and you've got a problem with that? Sean Lee should have turn his head the other way when got a concussion last year, Romo should not have turned his back last year when he got hurt, give me a break injuries happen and that was a gruesome looking play that we should be blessed that he didn't sustain a serious injury.
LOL at you or anyone else who thinks this isn't a "serious injury."

7th year in the league and still doesn't know when to pick his spots. There's a time to fight for an extra 1-2 yards... and a time when you understand that 1-2 yards in the 1st quarter of the 3rd game of the season isn't worth the risk of injury.

Smart WRs understand this and stay healthy for their teams year after year after year. Dumb WRs get injured fighting a LB for that extra yard.

Sounds like he is calling Garrett a liar.

Google this guy and fraud after his name.
He has been banned from performing surgery at several hospitals and apparently has transformed himself into a Twitter doctor.

I don't know but I do know I trust our own doctors over a doctor that was fired from the Chargers and shamed while never even examining the player.

Dez Bryant is dealing with a slight hairline fracture to his right knee and is considered day-to-day, Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett told reporters on a conference call Wednesday.

LOL!

Yeah, "fracture" and "knee" in the same sentence shouldn't be a talking point, you guys. No biggie!

You have repeated this same post 5 times in this thread. We get it...you don't like Dez and you think he is a dumb player...

Why do you keep saying it? Are you desperate for an arguement?

I'll bet you $100 right now Beasley gets open this weekend. He's alot more productive than invisible man Dez.....
What does that even mean? Beasley gets open? How are people making message board wagers now?
Send me the money and I'll "hold" it in escrow.
This is getting weird.

He and Dak seemed to have hit it off in preseason.

He did draw what looked like a pretty obvious interference v. the Bears, at least, this week.

Probably would've been a TD. He also hit Beas on that deep route, so hopefully we can compensate for Dez if he is out. Not a small task, but Dak continues to improve his game (I.e. the longer routes).

And Beas was getting swallowed up in the first couple games on those long out/go routes, it was nice to see him and Dak connect. If Dak had led him just a scootch more, it was a touchdown, but I digress. Fantastic play by both players. Maybe that Randy Moss QB camp will pay off in the form of some 40-50 yd bombs behind the cover safety for quick, little Beas :)

The Dez injury still stings (duh, right)

Butler, twill Beasl, lucky, send lucky deep a few times, they won't expect it. Butler and dak had some chemistry this preseason. I'd rather dez just sit out

No, I'm just pissed off, like I bet Dez's coaches and the team's front office are at him.

And if I've repeated myself it's in direct response to others responding to me.

I love Dez and have his jersey hanging in my closet. That doesn't mean I can't complain at his stupid decision which will certainly hurt his team. Sick of this guy getting hurt and this one was 100% avoidable.

Look for Brice Butler and Terrance Williams as your starting WRs this Sunday. It's okay though, at least our injured star WR who makes a boatload of $$$ is a tough guy who never gets tackled without a fight! Yippee!!!

The way some of you guys act...you'd think there weren't more pressing issues going on in the world right now.

People in here really throwing tantrums over a WR not playing a game of football LOL

Dude you have to be kidding me? It was a routine play and not a FORCE for extra yardage. Chalk it up to football. He's running up the sidelines and his foot/ankle gets caught awkwardly under the defender then his knee gets slammed. He's playing football. Blaming this on Dez is just the wrong route. Let's hope he gets healthy.
