But there's a certain symmetry to Dak throwing a game winner to Dez in Lambeau at the end of regulation, too.

With Terrance Williams sprained AC joint......Dez might have to go this week at 75%. He probably will not be able to get deep...but he should be able to move the chains and/or do work in the redzone.

i thought i read that the initial diagnosis was wrong and it's actually a bone bruise and not a hairline fracture?

From what I've been hearing (don't know if it's reliable) Dez's injury shouldn't get any worse if he plays on it. It's just a matter of if he can tolerate the pain. He may not even have much pain at all. I hate rushing guys back from injury but if he can go, he needs to be out there. Just have him play limited snaps, be a decoy, and if we're inside the 10 yard line throw him a shoulder fade. I think it'd be good for him to get back out there even with limited snaps instead of sitting an extra 2 weeks including the bye and throwing him out there in a huge game against the Eagles.

huge game...all hands on deck. If he can play he should play. He'll have the bye week to rest and recover for Philly. Plus-- he's motivated to make a statement after the playoff debacle in 2014. Let him get out there and do his talking on the field. Would be a huge boost for this team to have his passion on the field along with Dak and Zeke's.

Smart or not, I'm pretty sure he wants some payback. Bryant is an ultimate competitor. Beating Green Bay at Lambeau or anywhere else is probably at the top of his career list of things to do every opportunity he gets.

While it may not be looked at as a must win by some, I think Dez plays if he can for these simple reasons.

A win would be a huge confidence builder and a great high for a team ready to go into their bye. A loss would put a damper on things.
You want this young team to continue to build their confidence.
You play to win the game! Every game is important and we already gave one game away to the Giants.

Get out there and play Dez, enough of this nonsense. He can't hurt it any more than he has, what is the point of resting a guy with that type of injury. Rub some dirt on it, suck it up and show what your made of. Players today are a bunch of pansies. Give me the good old days where players really played hurt.
