I think the schedule makers didn't do them any favors. They play a SNF game the week before T-giving and Dallas plays a home game against Baltimore at 12:00. Similar to Dallas/Philadelphia in 2014 where Philly played a home game against Tennessee while we played NYG on SNF. Philadelphia looked like the better more refreshed team that day.

New year man. There are no ghosts of Thanksgivings past to be concerned with. It is the Skins thumping their chests. I hope they talk themselves up and get all psyched to play in Dallas. It will hurt just that much more when the bottom falls out and reality hits as Zeke drags a few Skins for another 1st down.

Well, now they will have a nice excuse they can cry about when they lose.
 
Skins have 2 guys in the top 10 in sacking the QB Trent Murphy (5) and Ryan Kerrigan (4.5) but that does not mean a lot if you can't stop the run. Washington defense is geared towards the pass they have major problems stopping the run. Vs Dallas that is not a good thing for them

Sunday a couple of defensive linemen took the time while strolling down the hall following the 27-20 defeat of the Philadelphia Eagles to remind reporters who won the NFC East last season.

"We run the damn East," Ricky Jean Francois said, via the Washington Post. "Not Philly, not Dallas, not all of them. We run the damn East. Better remember we got that damn (title)."

The Commanders won their fourth game in a row to move to 4-2, sliding just behind the 5-1 Dallas Cowboys. Washington's defensive line was the impetus behind Sunday's smothering victory, sackingEagles rookie Carson Wentz five times and holding an opponent to fewer than 100 yards rushing for the first time this season.

"Y'all forgot who the real champs of the NFC East is," Chris Baker shouted, "everyone picking them trash-xxx Eagles."

Yeah Washington defense in just about every way you look at it is near the bottom or at the very bottom in rush defense stats. But they didn't have to worry about Philly though. The Eagles haven't had one rusher over a hundred yards yet this year.

The NFC East was a dumpster fire in 2015. The Commanders won the NFC East because.....somebody had to. After they lost to the Matt Cassel-led Cowboys last December, they were 5-7 before winning out.

Long story short, the Commanders need to tone down the talk a little bit.

When we won it in 2014 it's not like the division was setting the world on fire. Eagles were 10 win team. Giants 6 wins. Commanders 4 wins.

The division looks much more competitive this year.

And if you're in your own stadium and happy about a win...you can say what you want. They are riding a 4 game win streak. And did you hear the quotes coming out of our locker room sunday? We didn't exactly sound like a humble bunch.

All i'm saying is until they are mathmatically eliminated they are the defending champs and playing well and enjoying themselves. Good for them. Good for us.

The NFL bEast is back? About time. Get your popcorn ready.
