The best place to get quotes after a big Washington Commanders victory appears to be in the hallway heading towards the home team's locker room.

Last season, that path at FexEx Field produced Kirk Cousins famous "You like that!?!" moment.

Sunday a couple of defensive linemen took the time while strolling down the hall following the 27-20 defeat of the Philadelphia Eagles to remind reporters who won the NFC East last season.

"We run the damn East," Ricky Jean Francois said, via the Washington Post. "Not Philly, not Dallas, not all of them. We run the damn East. Better remember we got that damn (title)."

The Commanders won their fourth game in a row to move to 4-2, sliding just behind the 5-1 Dallas Cowboys. Washington's defensive line was the impetus behind Sunday's smothering victory, sackingEagles rookie Carson Wentz five times and holding an opponent to fewer than 100 yards rushing for the first time this season.

"Y'all forgot who the real champs of the NFC East is," Chris Baker shouted, "everyone picking them trash-xxx Eagles."

This was the Eagles first game without Lane Johnson. He is a pretty darn good RT. I would have been surprised if the Skins D-Line didn't have a field day. Wentz looked pretty suspect too.

Oh , skins suck, they struggled hard vs the browns, lucked out big time vs the ravens and they beat the eagles and they wanna run there mouth?? Lets not forget they were ready to turn on cousins after week 2.

Washington will beat us in Dallas later this year. I don't think it will matter though.

The skins don't want any part of the Dallas Cowboys especially late in the season. By then, Dak will be posting 3 TD/300 + yds, zero INTs. Zeke will be posting 135, 1 TD, zero fumbles, and a lot of receiving yards. By then, this defense will be feeling good about themselves, we'll have our other end back, and we'll be full blown ahead.

You're not going to put pressure on our QB, if you do, you've left Beasley or Williams wide open. You're not going to stop Zeke all game long. When you play against our offensive line, you'd better come to play for 60 minutes because you're not going to stop this running game all game long. If you so happen to manage to stop the right side of the line, then we destroy you on the left. If you try to get pressure on our QB with 4, give it up. If you try to blitz, Beasley will eat you alive.

The best thing Jerry has done for this Cowboys team is build a franchise and dominant offensive line. When he drafted Tyron Smith years ago, I was in my car hopping up and down.

Next season, look out. When we go defense the entire draft except for fast WR, this defense will be dominant. We have to capitalize on these great rookies before their contracts are up. I'm amped up today, been a while for me.

Doubt it.

Sucky QB, One dimensional, cant stop our run game.


Vegas should have us favored and for good reason. We're just better than them. We were ripe for the taking week 2 and they couldn't get the job done at their house.
