Video: Sideline footage before the 4th Down in OT

Was that Zeke or maybe Dez that was saying "let's win this coach, let's win this"

Garrett has did this before. The playoff game against the Lions when it was 4th and 6 with 6 minutes to go. I liked that call and loved this call as well. I hate playing not to lose. Even if we would have got stuffed, I would not second guess it.
But many would have lol
It was the right call

Awesome. Garrett wasn't messing around that game.

I've been saying it for a few weeks now. Garrett has been doing a great job of coaching this year. He'd easily be my coach of the year right now. Which he may be a shoe-in since he took a 4 win team and potentially is taking them to the post season.

before that he went 4th and 1 from the goal line in the third quarter down 20-7.

This stuff is not new and he has a good sense of when to do this.

Now if we could only get him to defer when we win the coin toss.

Absolutely. If you can hold the offense to no points on that first drive, not only did you nullify the entire advantage of receiving but you give yourself the opportunity for the double score at the end of the half.

Receiving at the start of the 2nd half is always better, IMO.

I like them getting the ball first. We have been successful moving and getting a lead. I think that is important with a young QB.

I do too. Make the other team play catch up all game if possible.

I get the merits of deferring as well, but playing ahead is always much easier in the long haul. Theoretically anyways.
