Dak and Zeke are having this impact on Garrett. He would never call a fake punt before and likely kicks a field goal instead in overtime. He just has the confidence that those two will find a way to get it done. I noticed several instances where I said to myself, they wouldn't let Romo throw in this situation. One was having 58 seconds before halftime and being on their own 6 yard line. With Romo, they run out the clock so he doesn't throw a pick or fumble and give up a cheap score before the half. With Dak, they had confidence that he wouldn't do something stupid.

Makes perfect sense. You fall behind on the road, crowd gets into it... You are going to be fighting an uphill battle the whole way.

he actually had it backwards and was referring to their philosophy a few years ago. He used to want the ball after the half because the stadium is quiet and a lot of fans were getting food. Which is all true.

This year they take the ball no question about it.
