Will Dez ever be elite again?

This is the fantasy football era and for some fans they can't separate the many nuances that have an impact on a football field from their personal need/desires to have Player "X" simply score points for them so they can win their fantasy football league

Those folks get on here and whine incessantly accordingly.

There was a thread earlier whining about Alfred Morris getting touches which I'm sure had everything to do with Zeke not being in the game to register 100+ yards.

How many games would it take for some of you to Decide the Dez of old isn't the current Dez? Maybe he is as good as he ever was, but right now the evidence is indicating he isn't the same old Dez.

Hopefully that will turn around. But if it doesn't, some of you will never admit it.

No matter the various trends during the season, if a game is on the line, and a physical catch demanded...without hesitation, I'm going to Dez Bryant.

There's only so many balls to go around in this offense and it works perfectly fine without forcing him the ball. The Beasley TD yesterday was all Dez drawing the DB off him, who would you rather that ball get thrown to on that play, Dez in double coverage or Beasley wide open? There's going to be a lot of plays like that because of the respect he gets from defenses

Who cares? We're 7-1 and hands down the best team in the NFC.

I care.

He needs to make a couple of catches per game.
We are not half way though. We have room for error but come post season there is no room for that.

He must make a contribution. Something, anything.... first thing... second thing.... "you talk to the guy?"

Anybody here giving credit to Dez for the Beasley TD - because he should get the credit there.

Did you not watch the Eagles game?

Yes I did and I don't remember him doing anything spectacular. He was targeted 14 times to catch just 4. That's not a good ratio in my opinion, especially for a guy who is supposed to be Elite. He drops passes he should catch. He doesn't/can't outrun coverage and he doesn't outmuscle defenders, which is supposed to be his strength. I don't hate Dez. Don't take me that way. I just don't think he's elite and if he isn't elite we should try and get as much for him while other teams still think he is.

OK so you didn't watch the Eagles game.

Not if the refs allow mugging like I saw yesterday.

Perhaps some people should stop throwing dirt atop Bryant's career. He's alive I tell ya. Stop trying to bury him.

What does Charles Davis have against Dez......love Joe Hayden, but he clearly that was PI in the end zone....and Davis is spewing bad karma on Dez.

It's not too early to hit the panic button on Dez. He's a shell of what he was from 2010-2014, and we aren't seeing signs he'll recover to that level. His catch percentage has fallen off a cliff the last two seasons.

His days as a great receiver may be over.
Maybe
