Who is to say if we had won that game that we would have won every other game since then. I'll gladly take what we have over what might have been because more than that one game may have ended up with a different outcome.

Giants got one over on us, still give kudos to their defense they played well but the team they will face next time will not have a rookie one game QB, and will possess the leading rusher in the NFL. Have to agree, feels like there's a certain amount of pressure that comes with being undefeated that we probably would have lost at least another game anyway. I'm fine with 8-1.

That was stupid, and he did it again in the 49ers game.
However he seems to have gotten smarter, including Zeke's long run where he got in the way of the defender without committing a foul.

This. I prefer more sure things to shake a finger at in hindsight. Beasley should have walked in for six points in the first quarter. It's a lot more uncertain what Bailey would have done if he had the opportunity to kick but Williams' brain fart killed it. Same thing for the Bryant touchdown drop. That would have been just as difficult to haul in so I don't count that as the difference maker in the game.

Speaking of hindsight... I'm kinda glad the team got the one-loss out of the way since I don't believe any team will ever go undefeated in the current era of the NFL. Now I'm waiting-and-seeing how the rookie quarterback-to-the-Super Bowl ultimately works out for a similar reason.

Seriously. He's disappeared on the box score, but the guy has really come up big in a few critical spots, and I really like him. Team guy, no distractions. Owns his mistakes and criticisms, doesn't get ruffled and acts like a professional
