We got the Seattle loss today, really think the Giants lose to Pittsburgh next week...so hopefully we put Minnesota away and put some real pressure on the Giants...

Yep, this is exactly how I feel. There are 2 games that I absolutely hate losing. One is the first game of the year because you spend all off season waiting and then boom a loss. that just hurts. The second game is Thanksgiving. It kind of puts a damper on the holiday for me if they lose. kind of takes me out of the holiday spirit and since I live alone all I do is pout about the loss after I leave my all inclusive family dinner with my siblings and their kids and mom and dad.

And of coarse I hate losing a playoff game the most, but we haven't had many of those in the last 20 years but I got a strong feeling that's going to change for the next 10-15 years. Then I'll still only have 2 losses that really hurt cuz we're going to be winning super bowls.

I'm glad we didn't win that first game now ...imagine the pressure being 11-0 in the hunt for a perfect season and Super Bowl birth.

The best thing about playing on Thanksgiving was always going to the game and getting back home to eat Mom's dinner after the game that had been waiting for us since noon.

and turning on the VCR to watch the game again after dinner.

If it was a win..we would all hangout until midnight eating left overs and drifting off to drive home with dopamine from the turkey to send us to bed.

Those were my favorite things..

and of course the Seahawks losing helps.
