2017 ¾ season mock off-season and draft

We need speed. McKinley has no burst to me. Seems like a (solid) player to me. I def don't see Demarcus Ware which is the comparison I keep hearing.

from Kiper/McShay interview today....

16. Who are the guys we'll all be calling "freaks" after the NFL combine?

McShay: Myles Garrett is the top all-around physical freak in this class. He'll test off the charts for a pass-rusher. Two others: UCLA outside linebacker Takkarist McKinley and Virginia Tech tight end Bucky Hodges. McKinley has elite speed for an edge guy; Hodges, a former quarterback, is long, fast and athletic.

also, from an article in 2013...

McKinley is an anomaly on the track team at Kennedy High School in Richmond, a sprinter in a defensive lineman's body. At 6-foot-2 and 235 pounds, he stands out on the track just standing out on the track.

Watching this big kid sprint is an impressive sight, as it was Saturday when he overcame a deficit of at least a meter at the halfway point to win the boys' 100-meter final of the Stanford Invitational in 10.71 seconds.

Do you see elite edge speed? You tell me.

Yes.
He also played through a groin injury this year.

I could put together a clip of Dak Prescott plays from Mississippi State that would make no want to draft him. We have to look at the bigger picture and not just clips from one game.

Ok. If you see speed we'll just have to disagree. And I saw more than one game
